In 2012 this Polar Bear was the highlight of my day as I toured the city of Berlin. Her name is Tonja. Last year she had a baby cub named Hertha. What picture is your favourite? If you were this Polar Bear what would you be thinking or feeling? If you were a baby polar bear what would you like to play with?? For more facts about Polar bears you can visit: Kids National Geographic or the World Wildlife Foundation.

This is going to be a summer for discovering what is in our own backyards. In British Columbia, there are so many hikes, trails, rivers, ponds, and lakes to discover. Right now is a great time to go and explore along the waters edge of local ponds & lakes because you might be able to spot a Tadpole! Check out the Video Below to learn more about a Frogs Life Cycle and what you might see if you go exploring. For more information about the Tadpoles/Frogs you might see in British Columbia visit this Frogs & Toads resource.
On a walk through my neighbourhood yesterday I found this. These flowers had fallen off the tree and someone placed them into a heart. Every day there are ways to find Joy all around us. How are you finding joy?

I will be using this blog page to share what is on my mind. Some days I will post more writing prompts, or other learning examples and ideas. Other days I will have links to resources or other fun links to check out while at home.
