A Great and easy gift for your mom could be a Mother's Day Word Search. You could hide describing words and traits about your mom, names of people in your family or even all the different nicknames you have for your mom. Here is a website to help with your Word Search Creations. If you want a harder Challenge, you could give your mom a Mother's Day Crossword Puzzle. You have write clues about each word in your puzzle. This is a great way to test your vocabulary skills too.

Sunday May 10th is Mother's Day, so this week I will be posting some easy Mother's day "gift" ideas that double as a way to learn/practice your English Skills. Today's is a Cinquain Poem. A Cinquain is a 5 line poem that has a very specific word order and pattern to the lines. Unlike Rhyming poems, Cinquains are little bit easier to create because you don't have search for specific rhymes or even write sentences. Here is the Pattern: Line 1: One Noun that could also act as a Title Line 2: Two Adjectives that describe Line 1 Line 3: Three Verbs (action words) ending with -ing that go with Line 1 Line 4: A Four word phrase that matches the topic Line 5: One more Noun that sums up the poem
